"Terminator" will be getting an even larger home but for now it suffices. Eating a cricket every other day and fresh water provided, this arachnid is quite content. Don't be alarmed that it isn't getting enough oxygen as the lid is simply resting loosely on top of the pickle jar..... just secure enough to keep it in..... and the cats out. Oddly it has no interest in attempting to escape so must be happy. Terminator will eventually be released to join its own kind in the wetland area of the yard.... and I only hope it doesn't return to our basement EVER AGAIN!!!!!! ;0)

Just keep an eye for fungus, they appears easily when you dont have a good ventilation inside the pot
ah and nice movie taste btw, seeing the predators in the background haha
Thanks for thinking of that... yes I get brave and lift the lid if I spy any condensation beginning on the glass. I leave it off while I keep a real close eye on the "predator"... ha. Awesome catch on the videos. Fitting eh? I also have some really long tweezers to remove any bug remains, etc. Any advice welcomed!
You have AMAZING shots!
Stay good.

Hi Carolyn. I hope Terminator is still doing well. You can probably buy crickets for him/her at a bait shop if you have a hard time finding suitable insects around the house. I had also noticed the "Predator" movies right behind the spider. Very serendipitous. :)
Good catch ;0)
Thanks for the bait shop tip!
