magnificent
I love how the autumnal colors are in the bodies of the insects themselves as well as in the leaves... and contrasts so with the green above...magic when the complimentary shades -red, green- are next to each other...and the colors of the leaves form an 'abstract shape' flowing beneath as if a gown (as in their mantis love)
Thanks Kat for noticing the "magic" in these two children of Mother Nature. It's a warm scene that can bring feelings of sadness..... reality is that autumn must come to all. But I feel comforted by seeing the bright light in this photo.... it suggests to me a promise of immortality as the sunlight bathes the mantids.
